Crimes reported over the past seven days.


Burglary Dwelling

At 2.25pm on Monday 30 July in Nottingham Road, Hucknall, a house was entered by smashing the rear patio doors.  Nothing was stolen.


Burglary Other

Between Wednesday 25 July and 9.00am on Monday 30 July the lock on a garage door in Chatsworth Drive, Hucknall, was damaged in an attempt to gain entry.

Between 7.00pm on Monday 30 July and 7.30am on Tuesday 31 July in Starth Wood Road, Hucknall, a shed was broken into and a large Stihl Pruner was stolen.


At some time over the past week in Alfreton Road, Underwood, an attempt was made to gain entry to a property via an extension which is under construction.


Theft of motor vehicle

At 3.30am in Broomhill Road, Hucknall, A white Vauxhall Combo van was stolen fro the car park of a public house.  The vehicle was later recovered and two arrests were made.


Theft from motor vehicle

Overnight Wednesday 25 to Thursday 26 July the front number plate was stolen from a VW Passat Executive car in the car park of an industrial unit on Benneworth Close, Hucknall.


Between Noon and 3.00pm on Thursday 26 July at Hall Croft Nursing Home, Croft Avenue, Hucknall, Makita power tools were stolen from a black Mitsubishi pick-up including a multi tool, right angle drill, portable circular saw and a Makita tool bag.


Around 10.45am on Thursday 26 July in Mansfield road, Annesley, a white Peugeot van parked in a lay-by was broken into.  We do not know if anything was stolen.


Around Friday 27 to Saturday 28 July in New Westwood, Westwood, parts were stolen from a grey Vauxhall Corsa, including the front bumper and electrical wiring.


Overnight Friday 27 to Saturday 28 July in Roderick Avenue, Annesley Woodhouse two mountain bikes secured to the roof rack of a car were stolen.  A black and blue Merida and a blue Zaskar.


At 1.45pm on Monday 30 July in Montague Road, Hucknall, a white Peugeot Partner van was broken into and drills and other tools were stolen.


Between 11.00am and 11.15am on Tuesday 31 July on Woodstock Street, Hucknall, an 18v SDS drill, 18v Impact driver and a multi tool were stolen from a white Peugeot van.



At some time between Monday 23 July and Tuesday 31 July in Moor Road, Bestwood Village, Large farm type gates were stolen from the entrance to a property.
