Nuthall East –


Anti Social Behaviour – 1


Springfield Drive 01/10/2017 –


Caller reported at 0045 hours that a house party was going on and that the occupants were playing loud music.


Burglary Dwelling – 1


Burnt Oak Close 10/10/2017 –


Unknown offenders gained access to the property via an insecure front door. Entry only to the hallway of the address where a wallet and keys that were in the door had been taken. The door had been locked behind them as they left. The keys were to the house and a car. The caller’s dog barked at around 0230 hours and the back gate was found open also. 


Burglary Other – 4


Cedarland Crescent 03/10/2017 –


Caller reported that their shed had been broken into and three bikes had been taken. This happened sometime between the 02/10/2017 2300 hours and 0600 hours. The offenders had forced the lock off the side of the shed and they had entered property down the side of the house through the gate. The caller suspected that last week someone climbed over the fence as things were disturbed in the garden. Two of the bikes were brand new, a specialized Dita Sport Lady, White Stirling XL and a Btwin Rockrider all of them were black in colour.


Cedarland Crescent 04/10/2017 –


Caller reported at 0625 hours that someone had broken into their garage which was a separate building from the house. A male walking his dog disturbed the Asian male offender and he ran off without stealing anything. The garage door had been damaged.


Vernon Court 06/10/2017 –


Caller reported that their shed was broken into sometime between 0000 hours and 0730 hours. A cross Malvern grey pushbike was taken but the lawn mower had been moved but left behind. A fence panel had been broken to get the bike out. The shed was locked but the back of the shed had a gap in it where the offenders had made a hole to get into it.


Hammersmith Close 06/10/2017 –


Caller reported that their shed had been broken into sometime overnight. The caller had been informed by their neighbour that some of their stuff had been left in their garden. The offenders had forced the shed door open.


Criminal Damage – 1


Cedarland Crescent 07/10/2017 –


Caller reported that someone had forced the gate between the house and the garage breaking the padlock. The caller disturbed them before they got any further and this happened at around 0500 hours. The caller saw someone run away but it was dark and it was someone in a black hooded top with the hood pulled over their head.


Suspicious Incident – 1


Wimbledon Drive 06/10/2017 –


Caller reported at 0620 hours that they had just chased off a prowler in their garden. The light was on at the side of the house and the caller heard a thud. The caller thought that the suspects jumped over the fence and they heard what sounded like a metal bar.


Theft From Motor Vehicle – 4


Mornington Crescent 03/10/2017 –


Caller reported a theft from their white panel van and this happened sometime between 1500 hours on the 02/10/2017 and 0615 hours. A large amount of power tools had been removed and stolen.


Oakwood Gardens 09/10/2017 –


Caller reported that sometime between the 06/10/2017 at 1900 hours and 1200 hours an unknown suspect had broken into their red car. There were no signs of damage but there were some scratches around the driver door. The caller was unsure if anything had been taken and the offenders had been through all of the compartments inside the vehicle. The car was left parked secure on the callers drive way.


Hillingdon Avenue 09/10/2017 –


Caller reported that their grey car had been damaged overnight and items from the glove box were thrown over the vehicle. The car was left parked secure on the drive way at 2000 hours on the 08/10/2017 and it was noticed at 0800 hours. There were no signs of a forced entry being made.


Gunnersbury Way 09/10/2017 –


Caller reported that sometime between 2030 hours on the 08/10/2017 and 0700 hours an unknown offender had gained entry to their black car which was left parked secure on the driveway. The driver side door was found ajar and there was no damage to the doors, locks or windows. The glove box and arm rest console had been searched through along with the boot area.

Maple Drive 03/10/2017 –


Caller reported at 2030 hours that someone had tipped over their dust bin over leaving rubbish all over the street.


Hazel Drive 01/10/2017 –


Caller reported at 2035 hours that there was a group of ten youths aged between 13 and 16 years throwing items at people’s houses.


Hazel Drive 02/10/2017 –


Caller reported at 2045 hours that at the corner of Maple Drive they could hear a lot of commotion from the area. The caller stated it sounded like someone fighting and they could hear people shouting as if goading each other into a fight.


Hazel Drive 02/10/2017 –


Caller reported that around ten youths keep coming around the area and throwing stones and banging on doors. The caller stated that this happens between 2000 and 2030 hours.


Beech Avenue 30/09/2017 –


Caller reported at 2100 hours that a group of youths were hanging around in the area and that a can of drink had been thrown at the living room window.


Shelley Close 02/10/2017 –


Caller reported at 2100 hours that they had seen a male aged around sixty five years brandishing a Stanley knife to youths on the Spinney play area. The male was complaining that the youths were shouting and kicking a football.


Criminal Damage – 2


Hazel Drive 03/10/2017 –


Caller reported at 2055 hours that youths had been targeting properties for the past four nights. There was usually a group of ten youths aged between 13 to 15 years including males and females. The youths had been knocking on doors and running off and throwing stones at properties but no damage was caused prior to this incident. The male offender was with another male who was on a pushbike. One of the males seen in the group was wearing a distinctive red hooded top with white stripes down the arms. Two females were seen with the group, one was described as having dark hair and one with blonde hair and both girls were seen carrying large handbags. A half house brick which was still on the drive way which had been thrown by the youths at 2045 hours which had damaged the bonnet and a front panel of a brown estate car.


Basil Russell Playing Fields 06/10/2017 –


Caller reported that sometime between 1900 hours on the 05/10/2017 and 0730 hours there had been damage caused to the metal green fence surrounding the children’s play area. Cable ties had been cut that hold the fence together in the corner and then the fence had been bent and pushed back.


Theft Other – 2


Kimberley Road 07/10/2017 –


Caller reported that their partner’s purse had been stolen at around 1225 hours whilst they were at the St Patricks Church coffee morning. The caller suspected it was taken by an Italian looking male, possibly eastern European who was a dark tanned small male. The male came into the church and walked around. The caller felt uneasy and then when they left the purse had gone from the caller’s bag. The caller’s partner didn’t see the male take purse but due to his behaviour they felt it would have been the male.


Kimberley Road 07/10/2017 –


Caller reported the theft of a mobile phone while in the St Patricks Church at around 1230 hours. The phone was left in the zipped compartment of their bag on a seat in the church. The caller suspected that it was an unknown male who entered the church. The male was seen to walk in and then go round the back of a stall at the coffee morning. The male said he was Italian and walked around some more and then left.


Strelley Village –

College Way 29/09/2017 –


Caller reported at 2035 hours that there was a group of fifteen teenagers running around the cars and up and down people’s drives. Two officers attended to the area after forty six minutes and conducted a negative area search for the group.


College Way 29/09/2017 –


Caller reported at 2040 hours that teenagers were outside their house pulling their trousers down and shouting abuse. The caller stated that they were in the estate the previous night hiding under cars and running round peoples gardens. The male and female group of fifteen were aged from eight to fifteen years. The caller updated that the group were banging on the windows and they moved off to the Bilborough College car park.


College Way 02/10/2017 –


Caller reported at 2020 hours that there was a group of 8 youths aged between 10 and 16 years kicking a football at the caller’s car. The caller asked the males to stop it and one of them lowered his trousers at the caller. The group refused and as the caller was walking back into their house one of the males stated he was going to kick the football into the house. The group moved on to the Bilborough College grounds. Two officers attended to the area after thirty two minutes and conducted a negative area search for the group.
