Nuthall and Strelley Village Crime Update

Nuthall East –

 

Burglary Dwelling – 2

 

Newbury Drive 07/09/2017 –

 

Unknown offenders accessed the victim’s rear garden and entered the property by forcing open a small window with a wooden frame in a utility room at the rear of the property. One suspect then climbed in and then let the other offender in by the main door in the utility room. At this point the victim’s next door neighbour had seen the males entering the property and they shouted at them. They have both then made off over the victims rear fence and onto the Redbridge Park at the rear. All the witness could provide by way of description was two males, eighteen to twenty years, dark clothing, unsure of skin colour, both with hoods up. Normal height and the witness didn’t see their faces. The incident took place at around 2045 hours.

 

Osterley Grove 08/09/2017 –

 

Sometime between the 01/09/2017 and 1230 hours unknown persons used a screwdriver or similar to force the ground floor side door and push the refrigerator that was up against the side door and gain entry. A tidy search of the property was conducted and a watch was taken from the upstairs bedroom.

 

Suspicious Incident – 1

 

Horsendale Avenue 04/09/2017 –

 

Caller reported at 2030 hours that the front door had been tried twice but it was locked secure. The caller could not hear any voices and couldn’t see anything when they looked out of the window. A friend stated it happened to them to when they stayed at the address two weeks ago.

 

Theft From Motor Vehicle – 6

 

Highfield Road 06/09/2017 –

 

Caller reported a theft from their silver vehicle and this happened sometime between 1200 hours on the 05/09/2017 and 0820 hours. There were no clear signs of a break in but the front driver side door had been left ajar. A blue disabled badge was removed and stolen along with a pair of sunglasses. The vehicle was left parked on the drive way and the centre console and glove box had been left open.

 

Assarts Road 05/09/2017 –

 

Caller reported that sometime between 2000 hours on the 04/09/2017 and 0700 hours someone had broken into their white car that was left parked secure on the driveway. The caller found both doors open but it was unknown how the offenders gained entry  as the car stilled locked ok and there was no damage showing. Items removed and stolen included a pair of gloves and a key fob used for the caller’s work place. The caller reported that this was the second incident in three weeks.

 

Cedarland Crescent 05/09/2017 –

 

Caller reported items had been removed and stolen from the centre console and dashboard. There was no damage to the black car which the caller stated could have been left unlocked. This happened sometime between 2230 hours on the 04/09/2017 and 0700 hours. The car was left parked on the drive. A sat nav charger and clip were taken along with a wallet full of cd’s. An Ipod and the charger was also taken.

 

Gunnersbury Way 10/09/2017 –

 

Caller reported that their grey car had been broken into sometime overnight. No signs of a forced entry being made and the caller suspected that they may have left the car insecure. The caller stated that a drill and a black work bag with documents had been removed and stolen.

 

Gunnersbury Way 10/09/2017 –

 

Caller reporting that their white panel van was broken into whilst it was left parked secure outside the address on the road. The caller stated that it occurred at 0255 hours from the available CCTV they had. The caller was unsure how entry had been gained as the locks were not broken but there were dents at the back door. The Caller stated that their works keys, a sat nav and small change that was in a box was removed and stolen. The caller stated that on the CCTV it showed two offenders, the first one looked like a male and the second one the caller was unsure if it was a male or a female. The first male was wearing a dark hooded top with the hood worn up. The caller was unable to provide any descriptions for the second person.

 

Gunnersbury Way 11/09/2017 –

 

Caller reported that their blue car had been broken into and the stereo had been removed and stolen. This happened sometime between 1800 hours on the 10/09/2017 and 1000 hours. There were no signs of a forced entry being made to the car.

 

Nuthall West -

 

Theft Other – 1

 

Kimberley Road 05/09/2017 –

 

Caller reported that the two occupants of a white panel van in white had gone onto their garden and they removed and stole a large radiator. The caller described the woman and male of being of Romanian origin and this happened at around 1600 hours and the van left towards Larkfield Road. The female had tanned skin, dark hair with a long green or dark coloured skirt and t shirt.

 

Theft Of Motor Vehicle – 2

 

Woodside Avenue 09/09/2017 –

 

Caller reported that their silver and black motorbike had been removed and stolen from their driveway. The motorbike had a lot of stickers on it and it was taken sometime between 1700 hours on the 08/09/2017 and 1000 hours. The keys were not taken.

 

Little Holland Gardens 10/09/2017 –

 

Caller reported that their light blue car had been stolen off their driveway sometime between 0900 hours on the 08/09/2017 and 1630 hours. The caller had been away for the weekend and they had the car keys in the house. The car had two child seats inside it.

 

Strelley Village –

 

Burglary Dwelling – 1

 

Main Street 09/09/2017 –

 

Caller reported that their house was burgled on the 08/09/2017 sometime between 1400 and 2230 hours. It was suspected that the front door had been left insecure. The offenders left the house in a mess whilst conducting a search. Items removed and stolen included cash and jewellery.
