Crime report for Ashfield South week to 10 August 2017

Crimes reported over the past seven days.

 
Burglary Dwelling.

Between 9pm on Monday 7 and 5.40am Tuesday 8 August in Lingford Street, Hucknall a house was entered via an insecure kitchen window. Car keys were taken and a car removed that was later recovered.

 

Sometime before 9.20pm on Tuesday 8 August in Main Road, Jacksdale a property was entered by removing some door panels. 2 x TV’s, 4 security cameras, a play station 4, some hand tools and 4 x VAX Hoovers were stolen.

 

Sometime in the past 4/5 weeks in Lime Tree Road, Hucknall a house was entered and a set of house keys, car keys, 2 x mobile phones and a fishing tackle box were stolen.

 

Burglary Other

None reported this week.

 

Theft of a Vehicle.

Between 10pm on Sunday 6 and 9.30am Monday 7 August in Palmerston Street, Underwood a white Ford Transit was stolen.

 

Between 10pm on Sunday 6 and 6.50am Monday 7 August in Shortwood Avenue, Hucknall a black Kia car parked on a drive with key still in was stolen.

 

Theft from a Vehicle

Between 3.30am and 10am on Monday 7 August in Shortwood Avenue, Hucknall a blue Mitsubishi Evolution car was broken into, sunglasses and some cash was stolen.

 

Between 3pm on Sunday 6 and 8am Monday 7 August in Shortwood Avenue, Hucknall a black Kia Creed was broken into. An untidy search made but nothing stolen.

 

Between 4am and 6.50am on Saturday 5 August in Owston Road, Annesley a blue Vauxhall Astra was broken into. A black bag containing electricians tools and an iPhone 6s in a red leather case were stolen.

 

Between 10pm on Friday 3 and 8am Saturday 4 August in West Terrace, Hucknall a red Seat Doblo was broken into and 2 hedge trimmers were stolen.

 

Between 5pm on Monday 7 and 7.25am Tuesday 8 August in Beacon Hill Drive, Hucknall a black Ford Focus parked on a driveway was entered and a Dell computer, Apple iPad and a Samsung mobile phone were stolen.

 

Between 7.30pm on Monday 7 and 7.10am Tuesday 8 August in High Leys Road, Hucknall a Peugeot 3008 was entered and a laptop in a black bag, sunglasses, Wallet containing a driving licence, bank cards and some cash was stolen.

 

Between 8pm on Monday 7 and 7.30am Tuesday 8 August in Valerian Grove, Hucknall a red Mercedes A class car was broken into and two pairs of Ray-Ban sunglass were stolen.

 

Between 7.30pm on Monday 7 and 8am Tuesday 8 August in Penhale Drive, Hucknall a Peugeot 3008 was left insecure was entered and some cash was stolen

 

Overnight of Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 August in Penhale Drive, Hucknall an Audi car was broken into and some garage keys and some soft drinks were stolen.

 

Between 4.30pm on Monday 7 and 10.30am Tuesday 8 August in Senator Close, Hucknall a car was entered and a DVD player and a Rolex were stolen.

 

Between 7pm On Monday 7 and 10.30am Tuesday 8 August in Hobben Crescent, Hucknall a red Audi A3 parked on a drive was entered and a SatNav and adaptor and some sunglasses were stolen.

 

Between 4pm on Monday 7 and 8am Tuesday 8 August in Hobben Crescent an insecure car was entered and a mobile phone and some documents were stolen.

 

Overnight of Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 August in Sabina Close, Hucknall a car was broken into and a multicoloured purse containing some cash was stolen.

 

As can be see 9 cars were reported as having been entered or broken into on the night of the 7/8 August in the built up area of Hucknall. The thieves would have been mobile in a vehicle travelling round the town. If you saw anything suspicious or have any information please pass this to the police.

 

The police are starting a new operation targeting off road motorcyclists in the Ashfield area.
