Alert message sent 22/03/2018 16:46:00

Information sent on behalf of Notts Police

Good afternoon,

Nuthall East –

Burglary Dwelling – 1

Temple Crescent 22/03/2018 –

Caller reported that sometime between 2200 hours on the 21/03/2018 and 0730 hours their white vehicle had been broken into. A spare house key was found in the vehicle and the offenders had attempted to break into his property using the key but entry was not gained. There were no signs of forced entry being made to the vehicle. The caller’s passport and driving licence had been removed and stolen from the vehicle. The vehicle had been rummaged through and nothing else had been taken. The caller stated that they found the spare key to their house was still in the front door. The offenders had put it in the lock intending to unlock the front door but because there was a key on the inside of the lock the offenders were not able to gain entry to the house.

Theft From Motor Vehicle – 2

Greenford Close 22/03/2018 –

Caller reported that sometime between 2330 hours on the 21/03/2018 and 0600 hours someone had broken into their white vehicle. No obvious signs of how they got in but the key cover had been removed so the caller was unsure if a key had been used. The caller had all of their keys for the vehicle. An untidy search had been conducted and nothing appeared to have been taken.

Stanmore Close 22/03/2018 –

Caller reported that somebody had broken into their white vehicle and rifled through the glove compartment but nothing was taken. The vehicle was left parked secure on the drive way and no damage was caused to gain entry. This happened sometime between the 21/03/2018 at 1900 hours and 0900 hours.
