January 2018 Leen area update

Hello residents


I am writing to let you know about crime in the Leen Police Beat area during January 2018.


We have had 6 burglaries on Woodstock Avenue forced entry to front door, Grimston Road forced entry to front door cash and CCTV equipment taken, Saint Peters Street forced entry rear kitchen window, Brixton Road entry gained via insecure front door laptop taken, Denman Street West laptop taken and Dulwich Road forced entry to rear door coat and bag taken.


We have had 7 reports of theft from/of motor vehicle on Alfreton Road, Churchfield Lane, Denman Street West, Forster Street, Midland Way, Knighton Avenue and Prospect Street.


We have had 6 offences of Criminal Damage on New Road, Saint Peters Street, Hartley Road/Radford Boulevard, Clapham Street, Midland Way and Forster Street.


We have had 2 reports for theft of bicycle from Bramcote Street and outside Xercise4less.


We have had no report of robbery.


We have had 1 warehouse break at the rear of B&M store Castle Retail Park, alcohol taken.
