Winter - Vehicle Crime Message

Good morning all

Jack Frost is with us again some words of advice below on how to keep you and your vehicle safe!!

The recent advances in vehicle security mean criminals have become more opportunist.

All the security features on your car won't help if you leave your car running to warm up with the key in the ignition.

The frosty mornings will catch many people out who, to avoid being late for work, will leave cars unattended and pop back into the house.

People think it is fine to leave their cars unattended for just a moment, but a moment is all it takes for the car to be stolen.

Please do not be tempted to leave your car running be safe be secure.

Please help us by starting the winter as you mean to go on and don't get in a bad habit of leaving your car insecure.

We also urge motorists not to take any risks with their safety or the safety of others by failing to clear their windscreens properly before setting off on their journey.
