Nuthall East –


Burglary Dwelling – 1


Nottingham Road 16/10/2017 –


Unknown offenders attacked three security lights to the property and then forced the garage door open gaining entry. Offenders then attacked numerous windows to the house attempting to force them open causing damage and marks. The offenders then attempted to force the rear door open to the house again causing damage. Offenders then opened the front door to the porch and then they faced the inner door. Offenders then smashed the side window to this inner door before being disturbed. The caller was unsure if any items had been stolen from the garage. The caller was woken up to a loud bang and this incident happened at around 2105 hours. This was near to the entrance to the Methodist Church.


Criminal Damage – 1


Nottingham Road 17/10/2017 –


Whilst sat waiting at red traffic lights at Nuthall roundabout (Kimberley side) at around 2040 hours the caller saw six to eight males acting suspiciously outside an address. The caller then saw them all pile into a dark coloured estate car. Whilst still sat watching the same males pulled up alongside the caller and a male got out of the car and smashed the driver side and rear passenger side window of the caller’s black car with a spanner before getting back into vehicle and driving towards the city. The males couldn’t be described as their faces were covered.  


Theft From Motor Vehicle – 1


Temple Drive 16/10/2017 –


Caller reported that their white car had been broken into with access gained to the box on the back and the offenders snapped the handle. This took place at around 0230 hours. The caller was only aware of their climbing gear being taken and an orange kit bag which had total access on it. A harness and lanyards were removed and stolen.


Theft Of Motor Vehicle – 1


Cedar Avenue 17/10/2017 –


Caller reported at 1855 hours the theft of their motorcycle from the driveway. The caller left the motorcycle for a few minutes and came back out and it was gone. It was a push button start with no keys. The motorbike was blue with white side panels and lots of white stickers on it.


Theft Other – 1


Nottingham Road 15/10/2017 –


Caller reported that at around 2100 hours three males were seen forcibly removing three stone caps from pillars on their house boundary wall. This was close to the junction with Woodland Drive. The unknown males arrived in a car and then left the area towards the Nuthall Public House.


Suspicious Incident update Temple Crescent 13/10/2017 –


The driver of the car was charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop for Police and for having no insurance. The front seat passenger was arrested for a failure to appear warrant. The third male made good his escape.


Suspicious Incident – 2


Meadow Rise 17/10/2017 –


Caller reported at 0745 hours that an hour a silver car had been parked on the street and a male had been sat in the car most of the time. The male did get out and walked up the street and he then went behind a property for a few seconds. The caller stated that the male had then walked up the street and urinated on a neighbour’s fence. The male then returned to his car and sat in it with the engine running and lights off. White male aged between 50 and 60 years, 6ft tall with dark curly hair. The male was wearing a black zipped up coat and blue jeans.


Another resident reported this incident at 0810 hours. Caller reported a male was pretending to urinate on a neighbours drive and then he drove off and he was seen looking at vehicles. This happened at around 0725 hours. The caller did state that the male did urinate on the road. The male was described as being of a stocky build.

Theft From Motor Vehicle – 1


Maple Drive 16/10/2017 –


Caller reported that their black vehicle had been broken into overnight. The offenders had removed and stolen fishing tackle and they had forced open the lock. This incident happened sometime between 0000 and 0030 hours.
