Nuthall and Strelley Village Crime Update

Nuthall East –


Theft From Motor Vehicle – 3


Cranwell Court 25/09/2017 –


Caller reported that their silver van had been broken into sometime between 2300 hours on the 24/09/2017 and 0800 hours. The locks had been forced and a box of tools were removed and stolen from within.


Millennium Way West 26/09/2017 –


Caller reported that sometime between 1600 hours on the 25/09/2017 and 0620 hours work tools had been stolen from the back of their white panel van. The tools were covered by tarmac sheeting. A wacker plate and a rammer had been removed and stolen.


Millennium Way West 26/09/2017 –


Caller reported that their black van had been broken into overnight sometime between 2300 hours on the 25/09/2017 and 0900 hours. There didn’t appear to have been anything taken and the passenger 1/4 window at the front had been smashed.  


Nuthall West –


Anti Social Behaviour – 2


Kimberley Road 27/09/2017 –


Caller reported at 2100 hours that someone had been along the road and knocked over all the wheelie bins, some were in the road and it was dark so the caller was concerned that may have caused an accident. The caller stated that the same happened the previous night also. The caller had seen a cyclist go into one of them.


Kimberley Road 27/09/2017 –


At around 2045 hours another caller heard a loud bang and they saw that all four of their bins had been knocked over.


Burglary Other – 1


Kimberley Road 22/09/2017 –


Caller reported that their shed had been broken into and this happened sometime between 1700 hours on the 21/09/2017 and 1700 hours. A petrol chainsaw and a petrol hedge cutter were taken and the offenders gained access by snapping the lock.


Criminal Damage – 1


Saint Patricks Road 24/09/2017 –


Two males known to the caller that had been staying at the address attended to the address at 1745 hours. One of the males had then damaged the front door by banging hard on it. Eventually the caller allowed the males into the address and a verbal altercation took place. The caller then had their laptop and a mirror damaged at some point during the altercation.


Strelley Village –


Theft From Motor Vehicle – 1


Main Street 24/09/2017 –


Caller reported that an unknown suspect had removed and stolen the front and back number plates from their black car that was left parked secure in the public house car park. This happened sometime between 2245 hours on the 23/09/2017 and 1120 hours. A male was arrested for this offence. He was charged and remanded with two theft of fuel from the forecourt, this theft of number plates and for abstract of electricity.
