Work vans are always an attraction to thieves and as seen above can prove to be quite lucrative. So please where possible remove all tools and valuables to a secure place when your vehicle is left unattended especially overnight. We have often put this warning out but if you have relatives, friends or neighbours with work vans and who may not be signed up to our Alert scheme and therefore nor be aware of the advice we put out then a friendly word from you would hopefully be appreciated.
If you have any information relating to the above criminal activity e.g. did you or anyone you know witness one of the incidents? Do you know who the person(s) responsible are? Have you noticed any suspicious activity prior to any incident? Or do you have any CCTV footage that may be of help?
