Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch in Nottinghamshire

Crimes reported over the past seven days.

 

Burglary Dwelling

Around a month ago on Spring Street, Hucknall, a house was entered and a Laptop, iPods, jewellery, motorbike leathers, a duvet and curtains were stolen.

 

Burglary Other

Around 1.00pm on Monday 28 August at Annesley Hall, Mansfield Road, Annesley, a wall and the main door were damaged in gaining entry to the building. Nothing was stolen.

 

Theft of motor vehicle

Around 3.30pm on Friday 25 August in Cavendish Crescent, Annesley an insecure Toyota RAV4 was stolen.

 

Theft from motor vehicle

Between 10.30pm and 11.00pm on Thursday 24 August in Hazel Meadows a grey Mercedes was entered and sunglasses stolen.

 

Between 7.00pm on Thursday 24 August and 7.10am on Friday 25 August in Minstrel Close, Hucknall, a vehicle was entered. We do not know at this time if anything was stolen.

 

Between 10.00pm on Thursday 24 and 7.00am on Friday 25 August in Derwent Drive, Hucknall, a Disabled Blue Badge was stolen from a black Peugeot.

 

Between 7.00pm on Thursday 24 and 9.10am on Friday 25 August in Viyella Gardens, Hucknall, sunglasses were stolen from a black Vauxhall Corsa.

 

Between 7.00pm on Thursday 24 and 8.05am on Friday 25 August in Nursery Close, six pairs of sunglasses were stolen from grey Citroen Picasso parked on a driveway.

 

Between 7.00pm on Thursday 24 and 6.00am on Friday 25 August in Queen Street, Hucknall, the number plates were stolen from a white Ford Transit van.

 

Between 2.30am and 3.00am on Friday 25 August in Lacelles Gardens, Hucknall, a TomTom SatNav  was stolen from a silver Peugeot 208 parked on a driveway.

 

Once again an area of Hucknall is being targeted by thieves breaking into or searching for insecure vehicles overnight.  The main items being stolen are sunglasses.  Please do not leave sunglasses on display and remove them from your cars overnight.  If you see any suspicious activity around parked cars on your street please contact the police immediately using 999.

 

Theft

Around 2.30pm on Tuesday 29 August, at Tesco Extra, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a matt black Rockrider B’twin Mountain Bike left insecure in the bike rack at the front of the store was stolen.
