Strelley Village Theft Alert

Alert message sent 16/08/2017 12:59:00

Information sent on behalf of Notts Police

Strelley Village –

Theft Other – 1

Main Street 06/08/2017 –

Caller reported at 1735 hours that two males had stolen an Aylesbury duck from a property and that they were now on Bilborough Road. The two males had climbed a fence to the pond and ran off with the white duck. The white males were both aged in their twenties and were seen wearing tracksuits and one wore a blue t shirt. One of the males picked up the duck and put it under their jacket. Three officers attended to the area after six minutes and they conducted a negative area search for the two males.

This has left the owners really upset because the duck was a pet of a day nursery and it was being kept at this pond for them.

If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at around this time then please call 101 giving the incident number of 653-06082017.

Thank you,
