Crimes reported over the past 7 days, 12:00 20th July - 12:00 27th July 2017.

Only those areas with reported crimes are listed.



Berry Hill



£400 pounds of insulation boarding was taken from the front lawn of a house on Chatsworth Drive between 20th and 21st July.





Theft of vehicle.

A motorbike was taken from Howard Road in the early hours of the 19th July. Police found and returned the bike.



Church Warsop


Criminal damage

A van was broken into on Wood Lane. The offenders made their escape when seen and threw a brick through the window.





Theft from motor vehicle

A black Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was taken from a car on Birks Road after an offender smashed a window to the blue BMW.


Theft from motor vehicle

A white Ford Focus on Millersdale Road was entered by unknown means, no damage sustained. The vehicle was searched and a pair of Ray Bans worth £200 were taken.



Forest Town East


Criminal Damage

The 22nd July saw cars damaged on Second Avenue with damage to wing mirrors.



Forest Town West



A house on Breckbank was broken into on at 1.30am on 22nd July. A Gucci watch was taken.





Criminal damage

3 vehicles had their wing mirrors ripped off on Ley Lane






A home on Tithby Court was entered between 1050 and 1230 hours on 20th July by damaging the exterior door to gain entry. Nothing believed to be taken at this time.



A shed on Trowell Court has been broken into 21st July, within the previous 24 hours. £200 pounds of equipment were taken including tools and a hoover.



A shed on Newark Way has been broken into between the 21st and 25th. Two locks had been undone. Two fish tanks, an electric drill and tool box were taken.



A garage was broken into on 24th July and a lawn mower was taken.


Oak Tree



A children’s tent was stolen from a garden on Bradforth Avenue between 19th and 21st July.



A 3 tier hanging garden basket was taken from Shirland Drive 24th/25th.





Theft from motor vehicle

Between 3am and 8.30am on 21st July a car was broken into on Nottingham Road near Titchfield Park by smashing the back passenger window. Loose change and an Omega watch worth £250 were taken.



Criminal damage

A brick was thrown through a car window on Dallas Street on 25th July. Nothing was taken.


Theft of motor vehicle

A motorbike was stolen from Cromwell Street overnight, 26th/27th July, which was a black Suzuki GZ125.





On Station Street a hilt breaker that was on hire was stolen between 21st and 25th July. It was taken from within a building but no signs of forced entry.







There was a shed break on Sandy Lane, overnight 22nd/23rd . A new red Apollo bike was taken, with Muddy Fox mud guards, which was locked in the shed and padlocked. There are USB chargeable lights to the front and rear of the bike in fluorescent yellow and there is also a bike pump on.


Criminal damage

A house on Allwood Close sustained damage to conservatory by bricks thrown from an adjoining field.



Robin Hood


Theft from motor vehicle

Unknown method of entry to blue Fiat Bravo on Montrose Square overnight 23rd/24th. The car was rifled through but nothing known to be taken at this time. The thief had also tried other cars.


Theft from motor vehicle

Between the 23rd and 26th July, a white Jeep Patriot was broken into on Worcester Avenue. A silver iPod classic worth £100 was taken.




Criminal damage

Several cars had their wing mirrors damaged in the early hours of the 23rd July on Wood Street Mansfield.



Town Centre



Whilst in Natwest a customer had his bike worth £340 stolen on the 25th July. It was an orange Carrera with black wheels. The seat has scratches on. The handlebars are grey grips with red on them and silver bullet dust caps.



Warsop Birklands


Theft from motor vehicle

A car window of a white Citroen Berlingo was smashed on Muschamp Terrace, overnight 25th/26th July. It doesn’t appear that entry to the vehicle was attempted.


Theft from motor vehicle

A Ford Transit was broken into on Sherwood Street, overnight 25th/26th July. The stereo was taken.


Theft from motor vehicle

Another Ford Transit was broken into on Longden Terrace by gaining entry by smashing the rear window. A laptop was taken. This was also overnight 25th/26th.


Theft from motor vehicle

A Vauxhall combi van was also targeted on the same evening on Day Street. Nothing was taken as the vehicle is emptied overnight.


Criminal damage

Rideway Terrace was another location for a smashed van window.
